About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting region-led mission capacity building, strengthening community relationships, and serving as the primary liaison to the community. This role involves maximizing the organization's presence and connectivity in the community, developing sustained relationships to achieve mission goals, and managing the chapter board and community volunteer leaders. The Executive Director will also be part of the region leadership team, influencing the create a culture of teamwork and inclusion, and may be called upon to support disaster responses. Applicants for the Executive Director position should have a four-year college degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 5 years of related experience. The role requires demonstrated abilities in judgment, communication, influencing, and relationship building, as well as experience in fundraising and managing change. Proficiency in MS Office is essential, and familiarity with employment laws is a plus. The ideal candidate will have a competitive edge with experience in board development, fundraising, and strong community relationships. The position demands operational flexibility, the ability to travel regularly, and a commitment to the mission of the organization.
